Based in Melbourne, Peter has an extensive track record of performance in senior roles within the government, private transportation, technology and consulting sectors. This includes the successful leadership of teams and enterprise modernisation programs delivering business change and digital innovation within government, public private partnerships (PPP) and franchise contracts.
He held P&L accountability in running a consulting practice for a Global Tier 1 technology partner within their transportation sector across ANZ and South East Asia (SeaPac).
Peter’s engineering qualifications and experience provided the foundations for his track record of achievements across significant complex rail projects. These ranged from the leadership of engineering operational functions to planning systems and technology innovation; the early instances of digitisation and business process automation.
He led the implementation of the ISO 55001 Infrastructure Assets Management standard for Asset Information Assets at Metronet Rail Ltd. He subsequently transitioned into the stream lead role within the Rail PPP bid in the UK. The knowledge and operating experience gained enabled him to subsequently contribute to the successful Melbourne MR4 Rail Franchising renewal where he developed and Conceptualised the SMART METRO Digital Strategy that significantly contributed to the Franchise renewal.
Peter has established a strong business network of specialist supply chain partners in the digital innovation, data and business process automation spaces. He has program managed multi-million dollar rail projects in this space with emphases on transformation, change and business benefits realisation.
