Full Stack Developer
Type: Contract and Permanent opportunities available
Location: Sydney and Melbourne preferred, including remote working opportunities
We are currently looking for a well organised, focused Full Stack Developer ready for their next challenge within a dynamic team.
- Develop and design new applications.
- Maintain and support existing applications.
- Produce high quality code by applying OOP principles, design patterns, best practices, automation, unit testing, etc.
- Practice Agile methodologies.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- A tertiary qualification in IT or related field.
- Demonstrable experience in full SDLC.
- Extensive experience in the Java ecosystem, OO design and patterns.
- Extensive experience with open source Java technologies, Spring Boot and other open source frameworks.
- Experience with the Microservices pattern and containers.
- Experience with design and development of REST webservices.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- 5+ years experience in a Software Development Role
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and practices.
- Ability to drive a team to deliver under aggressive timeframes
- Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong verbal, written, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholder
