System Test Lead
Type: Contract and Permanent opportunities available
Location: Sydney and Brisbane preferred, including remote working opportunities
We are currently looking for a well organised, focused System Test Lead ready for their next challenge within a dynamic team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce Test Plans and Test Reports.
- Lead a team of test engineers to plan and execute test programs
- Report tests progress to senior management
- Create, maintain, and enhance test framework tools to improve the testing workflow.
- Reproduce defects and identify faulty software or hardware components.
- Support business users during User Acceptance Testing.
- Assist with project estimation.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree in system, software or electrical engineering, computer science, information systems or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Desirable:
- ISTQB certification
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- 5+ years experience in a System Test role
- 3+ years acting in a lead role
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and practices.
- Ability to drive a team to deliver under aggressive timeframes
- Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in Test and Defect Management tools.
- Strong verbal, written, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experienced with advanced SQL queries and oracle databases
- Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs, using tools such as SOAPUI and Postman
Desirable:
- Transportation and Payments experience.
- Terminals/POS experience beneficial.
- Government experience.
