System Test Manager
Type: Contract and Permanent opportunities available
Location: Sydney and Brisbane preferred, including remote working opportunities
We are currently looking for a well organised, focused System Test Manager ready for their next challenge within a dynamic team.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce Test Strategies, Plans and Test Reports.
- Build and lead teams of test engineers to plan and execute large test programs
- Test Environment ownership and management
- Report test progress to senior management
- Ability to work on multiple test programs in parallel
- Champion continuous process improvement
- Support business users during User Acceptance Testing.
- Own the test estimation for upcoming projects
Minimum Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree in system, software or electrical engineering, computer science, information systems or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Desirable:
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- 10+ years experience in a System Test role
- 3+ years acting in a test management role
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and practices.
- Ability to drive a team to deliver under aggressive timeframes
- Waterfall SDLC and Agile/Scrum experience
- Non Functional/Performance test experience and tooling.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Test and Defect Management tools.
- Test Automation experience advantageous
- Strong verbal, written, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to influence outcomes
Desirable:
- Transportation and Payments experience highly regarded.
- Terminals/POS experience beneficial.
- Government experience.
